La Linea GauGAN is a remix of the Italian animated cartoon La Linea by Osvaldo Cavandoli. Using the AI powered Nvidia GauGAN 2 the simple infinite line from the original episode is transformed to a rocky landscape. Remember to turn on the sound for the video!
La Linea GauGAN is a remix of La Linea ("The Line") Episode 2 created by the Italian cartoonist Osvaldo Cavandoli.
Using the AI powered Nvidia GauGAN 2 (trained on 10 million high-quality landscape images) the simple infinite line from the original episode is transformed to a rocky landscape in my version.
Everything above the line was transformed to the category “sky” and everything below the line to the category “stone”.
The experiment can be seen as a continuation of my 2019 project Perler Beads to Landscapes that creates realistic looking landscape images from perler beads patterns.
